What You Get Every Month

Here's a preview of the financial reports and bookkeeping workflows behind every monthly close. Every report is generated directly from your QuickBooks Online data that is accurate, current, and ready to act on. When tax season comes, your CPA gets the same clean reports, no scrambling, no back-and-forth emails.

Financial Reporting

  • Balance Sheet

A snapshot of what your business owns and owes at any point in time. This is the report your bank or CPA will ask for first — it shows your assets, liabilities, and owner's equity at a glance.

  • Profit & Loss Statement

Where your money came from and where it went. This is the report you'll look at most often — it shows your revenue, expenses, and net income for the period, so you know exactly whether you made or lost money. Your CPA uses this same report to prepare your taxes.

  • Statement of Cash Flows

Revenue looks great, but can you pay your bills? This report tracks the actual cash moving in and out of your business — operating activities, investing, and financing — so you always know what's available.

Receivables

  • Accounts Receivable Aging

Who owes you money and how overdue are they? This report groups your outstanding receivables by age (current, 30, 60, 90+ days), so you know exactly where to focus your collections efforts.

  • Open Invoices Report

A detailed list of every unpaid invoice: who it's for, how much, and when it was issued. This is your weekly action list for following up on outstanding payments.

  • Customer Balance Summary

How much does each customer owe you in total? This report consolidates balances across all invoices for every customer, giving you a clear picture of who your biggest receivables are.

Payables & Banking

  • Accounts Payable

Who do you owe and when is it due? This screen from QuickBooks shows your outstanding bills by vendor, so you can prioritize payments and avoid late fees.

  • Bill Payment

A view of your bill payment workflow: which bills have been entered, which are approved, and which are ready to pay ? This is the operational side of managing your payables.

  • Bank Transactions

our bank feed, matched and categorized. This is where the bookkeeping actually happens — every transaction from your bank account is reviewed, coded to the right category, and reconciled so your books always match your bank balance. Clean reconciliation means your CPA spends less time fixing errors and more time on tax strategy.

What’s included depends on your plan. The reports and workflows above are representative of what we work with each month — not every client gets every one. Your service tier determines which reports are included, and we can always adjust as your business grows. Start with the essentials and add more as you need them.
